Those Crop Selvedge Jeans

Everyone has been asking me about “Those Crop Selvedge Jeans” I was wearing to Milan Fashionweek. Well they are the new trend, yes! You can buy them from ShopBop and the brand is 3×1.
I styled them with a simple baby blue shirt to which I added a huge bow accessory from River Island.
I wore one of my favorite flower jackets from Sretsis and my new Gucci snake heels.

That Oversized Coat

I don’t know which I love more my oversized coat by Sheinside or my new Miumiu ankle-wrap ballerinas!
Oversized coats are a must have this season and they’re perfectly easy to style. I usually wear them all day long with casual white sneakers and a pair or leggings.
Here I styled the coat with a tutu skirt from Pinko and those gorgeous flats!Coat: Sheinside

One of my last outfits during my trip to Tuscany I finally wore my daring star boots by Tommy Hilfiger’s Runway collection. I am totally in love with them as they’re not just eye-catching but also extremely daring!
I styled them with a plain black and off-white look. A silk blouse by And Other Stories along this super stylish skirt by Sisley.

Terrazza Brunelleschi

Visiting Florence for the first time was quite an experience for me as I realized I haven’t been traveling to new places recently. My friends pre-wedding party was held at the beautiful rooftop terrace of the Grand Baglioni Hotel form which you can see the entire city. This is a must visit when in Florence for the view is unreal.I was wearing a suit, yes a suit 🙂 It’s pink and jersey though and speaks for itself. I love it! I paired it with everything Miumiu and Chanel to complete the look.

Fattoria Conciano

I spent the weekend at one of the most peaceful and serene places in Tuscany, Fattoria Conciano where I attended a wedding of a dear friend of mine. The hotel is located in the little charming village of Cinciano on one of the beautiful hills in the Poggibonsi area which overlooks the enchanting Tuscan countryside.

The dresscode was Dolce Vita Chic! Accordingly I chose to wear this gorgeous shiny dress by Vintage Story Boutique Lebanon. I styled it with my small YSL bag and my all time favorite Dolce Gabbana lace boots.

Dress: Vintage Story Boutique
Bag: YSL
Shoes: Dolce Gabbana

Mary Poppins

I’m loving the fact that midi skirts are back in this winter. The Mary Poppins classic look will always come back. I took out my favorite vintage Gianfranco Ferre midi skirt which was my grandmothers. The top is gorgeous and very unique by the new L.A. Brand Do&Be who you can find in numerous boutiques in the U.S.
I wanted to style a simple classic look this day during fashion week so I took out my black and white Valentino booties and a plain black fake fur jacket to top it up.

Skirt: Gianfranco Ferre
Jacket: Urban Outfitters
Bag: Hermes
Shoes: Valentino

Big Bows

Always been and will be addicted to bows! When I find a piece of clothing like this statement jacket by Alice and Olivia I can’t let it go.
I wore it to Milan fashionweek again on a busy day where I attended the Cavalli fashionshow and some other great events which you can read about on some of my latest posts.
I styled the jacket with the new BCBG winter cap again with a pompom on top and my classic Phillipp Lim boots.Jacket: Alice and Olivia

This season Moschino really took over fashionweek in Milan. Their Barbie line was all over the streets and being one of my favorite brands I just had to join in on the fun!
Here I was wearing one of their new featured tops of the season “Totally Moschino”.
I’m usually not a big bag of investing much in seasonal items but I couldn’t resist having a few pieces of this collection in my wardrobe. Who doesn’t love Barbie 🙂 I styled it with a pair of Rag and Bones and this amazing bomber jacket by Stella and Jamie.

Twirling around the pretty streets of Italy in this pretty Valentino skirt during fashion week I was quite happy it was such a sunny hot day in September.
I loved wearing this outfit as it was simple with a touch of sexy. I styled the skirt with a simple black bustier and this gorgeous vintage black fur leather jacket I had bought back in the days when I lived in Zurich.

The Orange Sole

I’m loving Barons Papillom and can’t wait to visit their new store in Paris near the Luxembourg square garden which is an absolutely beautiful spot. Be sure to check out the store pictures here too.
There are so many new brands out there producing shoes but it’s only a few that stand out and make it big, Barons Papillom is definitely one of them and not to mention their orange soles, such an eye catcher I love it!:) Their shoes are all so stunning and I’m completely in love with my new silver Python pair.
I wore them to Milan Fashionweek off-course. I styled them with my grey beautiful Madison Marcus Swarovski-sweater and a black leather skirt.Shoes: Barons Papillom

Pompoms and Monsters

One of my favorite outfits from Milan fashionweek was this stunning Alice and Olivia Dress that had just landed in Neiman Marcus Bal Harbor a few weeks back.
I styled it with this vintage headpiece with a pompom on top. I never in my life had that amount of photographers stop me for pictures as on that day…maybe it was the pompom and the Fendi monster that grabbed every photographers attention…

Roberto Cavalli SS15 Show

A more laid back game with shapes and lace is what he created this season. I found his collection rather different than his usual style, much more to my liking as well. I mean I always found something nice at the Cavalli store but it was never the place I would run to…but this collection has left me crazy for every piece!

Shopping Spree

It’s hard to find time for a shopping spree during Fashionweek but as usual I invent the time. Shopping in Milan is one if the best experiences when you know your way around and I love everything Italian!
On this sunny day I was sporting an entire look by Marc Jacobs. I wore my favorite new Brian Atwood shoes and some serious arm candy by Glamour in Rose which is an Italian brand with excellent Jewellery pieces.

It’s a B&W world!

Events: Replay Dinner Party
Philipp Plein after partyHeading out to two important events of Milan fashionweek, the Replay VIP dinner and offcourse the Plein party.
During this month Replay hosted one of the best events during Milan fashion week and I was lucky to have been invited. I got to meet many important people in the fashion industry not to mention celebrities, models ranging from Coco Rocha to Alessandra Ambrosio, and even football players like Neyamar. The event was a super success and the private dinner around 1000 guests was one if a kind.
The new collection if Replay was fantastically displayed and I loved each piece. Sparkling jackets and jeans were key of their new collection so be sure to check them out and keep an eye on them.
The Plein party was fantastic like every year this year the theme was Abyss apocalypse, an underwater world. Thanks to Plein for creating this fun foam pool where guests could chill in and go home finding foam stuck on their bodies even in their shoes! 🙂
I was wearing this gorgeous dress by Sandro with an Haute Hippie jacket and my YSL bag.Dress: Sandro
Jacket: Haute Hippie
Boots: Givenchy

Those boots…

My first day at Milan fashion week revolved around shoes and boots. From one event to the other I was thrilled to see all those young Italian designers. The best of the best young designers is still Giannico and I was very happy to have met him. He is 18 years old and already has his designs worn by celebrities and featured in global fashion magazines such as Marie Claire and many others. His designs are spectacular ranging from shoes with pills (which he says are anti-depressants to make a woman happy while she walks!) to Banana and Marihuana shoes.  Be sure to google him.
I was wearing a Nanette Lepore vest with a simple black bandeau underneath and Sophie Rue shorts. I styled it with my classic Givenchy shark-tooth boots which by the way are the most comfortable wedge shoes I have ever tried. A must have.

Shorts: Sophie Rue

Fausto Puglisi SS15 Show

I loved the Fausto Puglisi show this year and like always he is a great stylist when it comes to short skirts.
Triangles, circles, laser cut-outs and basically anything including shapes is his language. This year I will be able to tell his designs apart from others when I start seeing them in the market, he is slowly but surely setting himself a trend and very own style apart from other designers.

My favorites were the gladiators, the crop tops with the skirts and the jackets! His pieces have a strong sex-appeal and that’s what I like.

Ceresio 7

Milan’s new gem, Ceresio 7. The historical building owned by two of my favorite designers Dsquared2 now includes this beautiful restaurant with pools on the top floor terrace of their building, only a few months old and a dream come true for Milan 🙂 I had a great time here with friends during fashion week. It was sunny and the food was lovely, a must visit when in Milan.
I was wearing the new Moschino Jeans with Chinese embroidery on one side with my favorite Elisabetta Franchi leather jacket and the cut out Balenciagas. It was my first day out with the beautiful Hermes Constance 25cm.

Jeans: Moschino
Jacket: Elisabetta Franchi
Bag: Hermes

Loving the new fluorescent spring prints by MSGM this season. This dress was my favorite of his new collection (but I still love all his pieces)! Once again the Italians have great taste 🙂 I wore it during Milan Fashionweek to the Cavalli Opening Party with my Elisabetta Franchi coat and Kurt Geiger Wedges which gave my feet a good break as I was tired of wearing slim heels walking around the streets of Milan. Wedges are always comfortable and thank god they have been created to save us women from the pain of walking in heels!

Coat: Elisabetta Franchi
Sunglasses: Prada
Bag: Hermes
Shoes: Kurt Geiger

Solid Gold

A sunny day during Milan fashion week I walked around as a chunk of solid gold (this is what it takes to get snapped ha!). It takes guts to wear this piece but that’s what makes it so special!
I was lucky to have received this gorgeous piece by “Plush By Pashmina” right before the fashion season as it was quite the magnet to street style photographers! 🙂 The best thing about this gorgeous sweater is it’s also a two-way piece! From the inside it has a leopard print which you can see in my pictures.

Sweater: Plush By Pashmina
Pants: BCBG
Necklace: Italian Boutique
Shoes: Balenciaga
Bag: Chanel

The Swedish brand Monki has seriously grown on me. They are doing very well in the fashion industry and I realized I have been shopping there a lot lately! You can shop them on their website or find them on shopping sites like Asos and Polyvore which are also part of my favorites 🙂 This print on my shirt by Monki also exists on a dress, a crop top and a few other items…yes it took me an hour to tell myself to choose just one item with this design! 🙂 I immediately paired the shirt with one of those gorgeous statement heels by “& Other Stories” which I bought as an SOS for a night out after my other new heels had cracked from running around the streets of Milan from one event to the other…and they were brand new 🙁 Pinko have just revealed their new collection and I’m lucky to have gotten my hands on their new studded boyfriend jeans!

Milano Ti Amo

Here you have the best food, weather, and fashion all in one city! Milano Ti Amo and I mean it 🙂 I finally share with you how I styled my oversized fur vest by Aya Afify and my Marilyn Monroe Converse by the talented young Egyptian artist Nour Omar. The shoe designs by Nour Omar are impeccable and I won’t forget the woman I met on an escalator who went insane over them!
The best thing is she ships internationally and can also custom design your orders!

LoveByN for The Sahara Collection

I’m ecstatic to be in collaboration with the famous Sahara Collection brand owned by the two Egyptian sisters and designers, Karmah & Zeina Sabry. The Sahara Collection is all about combining today’s high-end fashion with Egypt’s diverse cultural mix & rich vintage elements into the finest and most comfortable fabrics and fits. I truly loved their collection and especially their gorgeous jewellery.
I decided to wear their stunning green maxi dress on the second day of Milan fashion week for a lunch reception and was actually shot by a few fashionweek street style photographers on my way as the dress was quite a statement 🙂 I styled it with this amazing vintage fur hat and my Chloe Susanna booties 🙂

Dress: The Sahara Collection
Jacket: Elisabetta Franchi
Shoes: Chloe

Gotta Love Moschino

I’m a big Moschino fan and I couldn’t resist their new little Chinese worker prints 🙂 For the first day of Milan Fashion-week I wore this stunning Moschino dress and paired it with my black Valentino stud shoes. I decided to wear no other than my rose sac du jour bag by YSL. They come in all shades of pink this season so if you’re a pink fan be sure to get yours now! 🙂 It was quite an eye-catching outfit. I attended 2 openings, a cocktail and one show with this outfit from which you can see some pictures here as well.
